In order to become a certified Green Salon or Green Clinic, you must participate in Green Salon’s theoretical course. The course is mandatory for the owner or the daily leader of the salon, who wishes to get their salon certified. To anchor knowledge about products, law and chemistry, we recommend that employees also participate in the course.
The courses are offered as needed by Green Salon’s secretary and mainly organized in Copenhagen, but can by request be arranged anywhere in Scandinavia.
Course description
The course introduces you to the idea of Green Salon and Green Clinic and addresses:

- EU’s law on cosmetic
- Health, allergy etc. within the cosmetic and hairdressing trade
- Problematic chemicals in cosmetics, especially related to Green Salon’s criteria
- The use of Green Salon’s list
- How you can identify products with problematic chemical
- Environmental and energy savings
The course finishes off with a test and and a course diploma for participation is handed out.

The course is open for everybody.
If you wish the Green Salon course to be held in your salon, the total price is 7000 DKK, plus transport.
